Here is the first ever review we came across online for Discotillion. Here's what ialapid thinks (yep, we do wanna hear what you think about Discotillion):

More upbeat and intensely funky, Narda's new realease, Discotillion, epitomizes modern disco in the Philippines. With the new sound and a new lineup, Narda is now a whole new band with every element several levels higher.

They have discarded the bass replacing it with funky funky synths and keyboards played by new members Jep Cruz and Yaps Estagle. Of course, keeping rock in tact, also new a member, Tani Santos' riffs fall so perfectly in place, completing the whole Narda sound. Katwo Librando's vocal skills are now more powerful hitting each note in each song with much precision. And because of drummer and main composer, Ryan Villena, beats and lyrics never fail to get a listener hooked.

Their first single, "Molotov" caught listerners and was voted # 1 in NU107's Stairway to Seven charts with it's head-bopping beats, notorious lyrics and it's use of an amplifier (also as heard in other songs). Songs like "Ang Mitsa" and "Gasolina", pump up the whole Narda experience with Katwo's firey and powerful vocals. "100 Taon" describes the impossibilities (and the possibilities, just as well) in a relationship that everyone can absolutely relate to. One must love the deep male backups included in this song. "Kamikazee" was aptly included as perhaps a comeback to the band Kamikazee who incidentally popularized the song "Narda". Five more songs complete the rest of Discotillion.

Another reason to buy the album is for the album layout. With it's black, light pink and light blue colors and flowery theme, it really is a Discotillion.

All songs were written and arranged by Narda. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Sound Creation Studio, produced by Mike Dizon and Mong Alcaraz of Sandwich and was engineered by Shinji Tanaka. The album is soon to be released in record bars. Please buy an original copy.
